Light Animation is an ERP software development company that builds and implements ERP systems for businesses in India. An ERP (enterprise resource planning) system runs the core of a business in one place: sales and billing, purchasing, inventory, production, accounting with GST and HR share one database, so a sales order reserves stock, a goods receipt updates the ledger and reports come from live figures.
Our ERP software development services are for manufacturers, distributors, retailers and dairy businesses that have outgrown Tally for accounts, Excel for stock and WhatsApp for orders. Each tool works on its own, but nobody sees the whole picture, month-end takes days and the same data is typed in three places.
For many businesses the right base is Odoo, configured and extended where your process differs. When Odoo does not fit, we deliver custom ERP software development as a web application. Either way, departments go live in phases with their data checked first, and a typical rollout takes three to six months.

Indian ERP projects need GST, e-invoicing, e-way bills, TDS and often a bridge to the accountant's Tally. We configure those for your business structure and invoice with GST.

An ERP touches every department, so we roll it out in six stages and check data at each one. A typical rollout takes three to six months.
We walk through sales, purchase, stores, production, accounts and HR with the people who run them and note every document, approval and report.
Each requirement is marked as standard, configurable or custom, then written into a scope with modules, phases and milestones.
Standard modules are configured first; custom fields, reports, print formats and modules are built where the scope calls for them.
Masters, opening stock and balances are loaded into a staging copy and reconciled with your accountant, and each team runs its real transactions there before sign-off.
Users are trained by role, and departments switch over in an agreed order, so the business never changes everything on one day.
We stay close during the first closing cycle, fix issues in the bug-fix period, and hand over code, access and documentation. Monthly support is available after that.
It depends on scope, so we do not publish fixed prices. An ERP quote follows the process audit; these are the parts that move it up or down.
Sales, inventory and accounting together is a smaller project than one that adds manufacturing, HR, quality checks and a customer portal.
Configuring standard Odoo is quicker than building custom modules, special print formats or a fully custom ERP.
Multi-company accounting, inter-branch transfers and several warehouses add setup, rules and testing.
Online stores, payment gateways, shipping partners, biometric devices and Tally bridges each need their own connector and checks.
Clean masters import quickly; years of mixed spreadsheets and open transactions take longer to map and reconcile.
Odoo Community has no licence fee; Enterprise licences are paid to Odoo. Hosting and the number of users trained also count.
